short Tail TH350 on camaro got questions
Hello all.
I have searched and did not find the answer. I am trying to run a short tail th350 behind a lq4 on a camaro I am doing and want to know what to do with the driveshaft.
the stock aluminum DS is about 4inches too short and will need to either get a new one or find one that fits
I was told that no shop will lenghten a DS bc of structural issues.
what are my options. are there any DS that I can source out to fit this application.
I was also thinking of taking the tranny to a shop and have them swap the output shaft and tail shaft for the long one. but I am not sure about what route to take.
any input will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Got a 3.5 Inch DS made
Locally w a 1350 Trans yoke and a 1330 rear bc the nine inch came w that. I measured it and it fits
Great. Traded my old one for it and 50 bucks later for the assembly and new joints
And I'm in my way to getting things
Finished. Now I need to remove the big *** deep b&m pan bc there is no clearance w it. Need a stock one and a trans crossmember and all hard parts will be accounted for.
