700r4 Torque Converter Won't Come Off

Torque converter will not come off a 700r4.
I had the transmission hanging from my shop crane by the torque converter bolts and hammered away with a big rubber mallet and it will not come off.
I then took a piece of angle iron that would reach across the front case. Drilled two holes in the angle iron to line up with two of the torque converter bolt holes. Installed longer torque converter bolts through the angle iron into the torque converter and tightened them acting like a puller. Nothing, it won't budge.
Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

That youtube video looks like the only way that sucker is coming off. I just might have to resort to that tactic.

Wow, I've worked on several transmissions over the years and never had a torque converter give that much trouble coming off.
I finally got it off by bolting the converter to the boom of my shop crane. Then chained the tail shaft of the transmission to the bottom beam of the shop crane.
Jacked the boom and hammered away on the torque converter when finally it came off.
I looked over the splines and they all look fine. I can't imagine what caused that sucker to be so difficult to get off.
