With the starter out you have better access and heat the converter bolts up they got probably loctite on them.

Use the correct size tool. It's either an 8mm allen head or a 15mm bolt- use a six point socket with a bolt. If it's an 8mm do not use a 5/16.

Heat the bolt head with a torch. With oxy/acetylene heat it 90 seconds to two minutes depending on the tip size. With propane or MAP gas heat it 10 to 15 minutes.

Make sure the socket/allen socket stays straight with the bolt. When the flexplate turns it will put it at and angle and it will strip. Make sure it doesn't turn.

It helps to use a wobble extension and a long 1/2 drive extension to reach the front of the engine. Then you can put a ratchet on the crank pulley and pull the two together.

For future reference, if they totally round off, a blast with an air hammer and chsiel bit in a counterclockwise direction will loosen them.
