Question Anyone using the Superior/Fairbanks Servo for 2nd???

Many years ago use it in my first car was an 85 Iroc Z with 700r4 with greate results back in 1988. Now after 1994 all my cars was manuals. Now i'm back to automatic world and i'm learning what you guys are doing with your 4l60e. I going to give it a shoot but i have a powerglide waiting if you fail with the 4l60e. Now any of you use the Superior/Fairbanks servo on your tranny and what was your experience? Thanks

We use them in our level 2 and 3 builds and they do well for us . Some dont like them but each to his own.
I will say do not use one with a stock band it will not take it and will break the band

Alto offers an extra wide band (Carbon or Red lined, stay away from the Kevlar) with reinforced anchor areas. The reverse input drum must be a low mile in "perfect shape" or get a new oem drum (not the aftermarket) to use the extra wide band.
