I have a 94 Formula with a couple of boltons that likes to destroy transmissions. The last transmission i bolted on was an unknown year and works well in low speed conditions but does struggle to shift and downshift. I believe the transmission was from a 96 or so. I have found a 94 transmission for $60 but the guy tells me that it wasnt working well either. It is a goodwrench replacement model or something like that. Im wondering if this transmission is worth the money for a rebuild or whatever it needs?

 

Provided the case is not cracked or anything its probably a good price. I've usually seen working 4L60's go for 200 bucks or more so 60 sounds decent.
