Default torque converter efficiency?

maybe this is a stupid question but is there any efficiency difference in torque converters. I don't mean like stall-wise i mean like going from a stocker or tci to a yank will you see better numbers from a quality product as compared to a budget verter.

Circle d, Yank and some others are good also. Just get one of the good name brands and you will be good

You can get as good as or better than stock but you have to
ask and you have to know when you're not getting a straight
answer. Some performance oriented outfits just don't care or
never have measured theirs.

My little TCI 3000 was very efficient. Their 3500 is sort of OK.
Their 3800 is not very.

Ask for data and see what you get.

Yes there are differences. I would also stay with a lock up type. They are much better for street driving. They also can help you at the track. I have mine lock up in 3rd gear under full throttle. Around town it locks up like a normal stock convertor. Circle D is who I recommend.
