Well i am asking this question for my 04 Z71 4WD. 129K miles, dual T-coolers
When im just easy driving very little gas leaving a stop light my truck starts in first then somtimes goes to 2nd and then third normaly. AND then somtimes starts in first then trys to go to 2nd then seems like it skips 2nd and hits third.
shifts are kinda sloppy, seems like a line pressure and mabe a shift piont issue.
but not sure. when i put it in tow/haul mode it hits all gears solid no slip and feels fine, even at WOT 1st-3rd. just wondering if its mabe a tuning issue that i can take care of if i get it tuned, or somthing mechanicly wrong with the trans, or mabe PCM related. any ideas?????????????????

I'm thinking either a mechanical or hydraulic issue. Either a band is going down on you or you have a leak in the trans that in the T&H mode with a bit of added line pressure the problem is being helped. Vince
