Default 4L80e standalone help

Looking at my choices I have decided to save $250 in the long run and just get a 4L80e now instead of rebuilding a 700r4 and switching later.

So which standalone for a 97 4L80e behind a SLOW (300chp) 350?

I have found:

TCI Auto 302820

Painless 66501

both of which I like.
Any reviews or other recommendations are welcome.
I am using a quiksilver B&M shifter either way

The Baumann controller is out there as well.

If you are are on an extreme budget you could build a megashift GPIO (~$250ish).

Id rather not build my own. Just to be safe.

Baumann is $590 with wiring harness. Any reviews?

Probably not on here since 99% or more use the stock PCM. They are mostly used in older carbed vehicles (also it has been very popular with the Ford crowd).

Jake's Performance is also a dealer for them.

i used the Compushift controller, mainly because i am computer stupid, and didnt want to have to set it up with a laptop
its a little pricey, but when you buy the extras for the other controllers, like throttle postion switch (which comes with the Compushift) its not that far off
the display screen(you can get it w/o, but worth the extra), which i mounted on my shifter, has a trans temp, speedometer, tach, etc
i would buy another in a heartbeat, simple to adjust, lots of adjustment-i raced mine quite a bit, you can use a man. mode, auto, upshift rpm, etc
i had an early TCI unit, i was totally lost with it

The Baumann Optishift includes a basic screen, doesn't require a laptop, is one of the easiest to tne IMO, and on a LS engine there is already a TPS, approx $100 otherwise.
Still WAY less expensive than a Compushift.

Do you also sell the TPS?

this is going on a gen 1 350 carbed
