how much more stall on transbrake?

Default how much more stall on transbrake?

My stall is only about 1800 off the footbrake, what would it be off a brake. Also what stall speed would still hook on minimal prep track. My car did 1.62 60' and went 11.53 in the 1/4 with 100 shot out of the hole. I'm going from 3.90 gears to 3.70, going from 275/50 to either 325/50 or 275/60(haven't decided) and maybe going to 150 shot. Thanks for the advice.

a transbrake kills transmissions ,not needed for a street car.good for bracket racing for big money.is your tranny built?the lightest tire is the best for et.but the widest contact pact helps with the NOS torque.with NOS don't purge and short shift.great ets and 60 fts.

(using software such as hptuners or efilive) command 3rd gear at a slow speed, and go WOT. That will be close to what your stall speed is.

As far as tear up trsnsmissions, my daily driver has had a tbrake for over a year. No issues to date.

If my convertor goes 1800 off the foot brake with 3.90 gears, what launch rpm would it be off the brake with 3.70. I'm trying to decide if I should loosen it up some. Its a multi-disc vigilante. I know your best ET will be with the lightest/ narrowest tire possible, I just want to be sure I have enough tire for the grudge races I want go to, where the prep is minimal.

A transbrake can usually stall up around another 500rpms..but it will very most likely.

looking at my datalogs mine goes to about 5600-5700 off the t-brake, that's off the 2-step though, so still basically a flash rpm. Most don't stall the converter all the way up on the 'brake... but most don't have <4000 stalls with a 'brake either. If it breaks the tires loose at 1800 on the footbrake that thing is pretty tight.

It spun some, but at the same time I dont believe it was up in the torque enough to get a good 60'. That's why I'm thinking of loosening some. I'm going to a slightly higher gear and taller tire, which will footbrake a little higher and hopefully hook a little better(with help of new TA and shocks), thats why I am trying to figure out how much to loosen the convertor.
