ok,
I contacted 3 converter suppliers, they all recommend different converters for my app. this is for a TH350 trans I'm putting in with 4.10 gears.
Hughs says 10" 4000
SMR says 10" 3600 - 3800
Coan says 8" 4500
who do you believe, or are these converters close enough that it doesn't matter?
I would like to believe Coan because I was going to buy the trans from them as well, but in my opinion 8" 4500 seems big, but the guys says it'll be the best performance.
any opinions or experience here would be great!!!

I was thinking the same, and the 10" is a bit cheaper.
how does anyone feel about a used converter, I got a line on a 10" 400 stall smr converter for $250. anything to watch for to know if it is anygood, or do they not go bad
