Most people will tell you that Trans Go is the way to go. Around here (So-Cal), a kit runs around $350-400 installed.

i say get a transgo or get an M6.
and do the install yourself.
its not hard, just stick to the written.
the video is crap.
oh yeah,
if you can find it,
there is a transgo with old packaging and no video for ~$50
but if you own a camaro or trans am,
companies will offer you the fancy box and misleading video for $100
lucky you dont own a vette, now that is some taxes. $200 for a shift kit, same tranny

I purchased the Transgo kit for $109, and the transmission shop charged me $150 to install it.

The vehicle will shift alot more positive, with all the slop removed, also the Transgo kit corrects alot of minor parts and problems that the 4l60e has in the first place.

I bought the B&M. Not as sufisticated as the trans go but a lot cheaper. The install is pretty straight forward. Just take your time and read the instructions step by step.
