4L60E to a TH350 Whats involve in the conversion for my 1994 camaro? I presently have an S60 and their chromoly driveshaft. Do I need to resize the driveshaft for the 350? new mounts? Thanks in advance everybody.
You would need to 1-move crossmember, 2- depending on which length tail you have on the 350 if 6 inch you will need to lengthen the shaft 3 inchs if its a 9 inch tail housing it will be the same.3-Work out the speedo there are several wys to do this.4-Relocate the torque bar as the 350 has no provision for it. 4-Reflash the PCM asa manual trans unless you want the check engine light always on.
Things to be prepared for
1-Slower launch unless you have high stall
2-Significant loss in fuel economy at least 30 percent more with high stalls noting you will not have lockup.
