before i pulled the trans,
i would seriously have someone NEW look at your tune...... tuners are not perfect & miss things,i had it happen to me.
have you checked your air cleaner & maff for excess oil? to much oil can make an auto tranny act up....
good luck!

Well when I took the car back to have the tune check for the limp codes to make sure it was deleted we check all the sender and even swamped one of his old maf on it to make sure it wasn't the problem. We check the tps and map also.

Well the car was tuned by a professional. I don't have a the program is what I meant to say. Its only a problem with 2nd gear I think. It binds up then when it hits 3rd its like a different car. And then after that the next pass it does the "LIMPMODE" thing when I only have 2nd gear. Been to the track 2 times same results both times. Yet normal driving shift and feels fine.
After I bought hptuners and checked my mail order tune, I noticed a descrepancy between the WOT mph column and the part throttle 100% columns. This was after my tune was checked twice. We are human and all make mistakes. Your tuner may have overlooked something, even when he checked it again. Hell when he checked it the second time he may have just deleted P0757.
Seriously, before you go through the trouble of pulling the trans, completely draining it, crating it up and hauling to a freight terminal I would get it tuned properly. You say you have 20k in the car, whats another 500 or 600 bucks for a dynotune if it could keep you from burning up your trans???

regblkss check with your tuner to make sure that the "test" for the P0751 and P0757 are deleted in your tune. I guess its possible that he might just have the report part shut off in the tune. That would explain as to why you do not get a light. Also when the trans seems to go into limp mode do you have to shut the car off to correct the condition?
I personally would get a scan tool on it to see what the computer is actually commanding the trans to do when this condition actually happens. This might help to better decide where the issue really is. First gear both the "A" & "B" solenoids are on. When the trans is in second gear the "A" solenoid is off with the "B" solenoid on. Third gear they are both off and for 4th the "A" solenoid comes back on.
This should give you a better idea as to what the trans should see from the computer and what gear is being commanded. From there you should be able to look at engine rpm and the calculated output rpm (VSS) to figure out what gear you are really in. This should tell you if in fact the issue is trans related or vehicle related. Good luck getting this sorted out. Vince

Please take it to your tuner and if he has any questions he can give us a call.
Vince is NOT a tuner and I would ask that he not try and complicate the issue any further.

How is Vince complicating the issue? His advice is right on target. The OP needs to delete the proper DTC's and scan some runs before he will have any idea if the tranny is working properly. No brainer. If his tuner knew what he was doing, most likely he wouldn't be having the issue.

OK. So after the tune. Everything's seem fine. I like to thank recommend flt for being support. And why I went with them to get a new transmission. I highly recommend them. And a big thanks to Mike at newera performance. He got my car all fixed. It is now everything I wanted and worked for all winter long. Now time for some 10's with h/c set up
