Pics are nice to have, but please disclose the manufacturer of this flexplate. I find it rather unsettling that you've avoided answering the question on here and performancetrucks.net. I want to buy, but I'll gladly pass it up and buy TCI, Hughes, or Reactor without knowing who makes it. Thanks.

Yank, are you ABOSOLUTELY SURE this is a SFI approved and certified flexplate?
Looking up the model number on your photo, I came across this:
http://www.daqianfa.com/Html/Proen456.html
Is your flexplate made by Qingdao Daqianfa Machinery Co., Ltd.?
If you go to SFI's web site (http://www.sfifoundation.com/), they have a complete list of all of the manufacturers that participate in their Performance Specifications Program. Here's a list of ALL of the manufacturers that produce SFI 29.1 certified products:
ATI Racing Transmissions, Inc.
CSR Performance Products
Chrysler/Mopar Performance
DMPE, Inc.
Fidanza Engineering Corp.
Hays Clutches
Hughes Performance
J.W. Performance Transmission
Jegs High Performance
Kiggly Racing, LLC
Memphis Performance
Meziere Enterprises
Performance Automatic, Inc.
Pioneer, Inc.
Precision Engine Parts
PRW Industries
QuickTime
Reactor Products
Reid Racing, Inc.
Renegade Racing Components
RPM International, Inc.
Scat Enterprises, Inc.
Sun Coast Converters
TCI Automotive
Note, Qingdao Daqianfa Machinery Co., Ltd. is not on the above list. I went to every web site of each manufacturer above to see if they had any affiliation what-so-ever with Qingdao Daqianfa Machinery Co., Ltd.. Not a single one did.
From what I've seen, SFI approved and certified flexplates also have a sticker on them with the SFI logo. Here's one I pulled off of google:
Please explain.

If you looked at the photo on our site http://www.converter.cc/product_p/sfi-ls1.htm
you will see the logo stamped in the flexplate (meets SFI 29-1 with a serial # of A656094) I do not believe that it was put there for no reason.
This flex plate was also sold under CAT POWER name.
Under the SFI testing you do not have to test all of the flexplates a supplier builds only the largest dia. unit.
If that passes, you are allowed to use the SFI 29-1 on all other flexplates you supply as long as they are not larger in Dia. and similar in design.
I will foward your question to the supplier and request they answer this.
Thank you
YANK
