4L60E wont shift into park. My 99 Camaro just recently started to not shift into park. The shift lever will go into park but the transmission stays in reverse. I can get under the car and push the gear selector into park and it stays in park. But once I shift it from park to any other gear from inside the car i cant get it back into park, it stays in reverse. The gear selector goes to park but the car still wants to roll backwards. Can the linkage be adjusted or should I be looking for a broken cable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
