Honestly, let me add to my previous replies. My TR224 LOVED an SS4k. It wasn't so hot with a 3200.....way better then stock obviously, but not like the 4k.

Of course you also changed brands of the converter from edge to yank wich was probably worth something also. Was the edge 3200 actually a 3200 or was a little looser or tighter?
