The Anchor $10 mounts from the auto parts places are crap. Polys mounts are love/hate. I personally would put an OEM mount back on mine if it needed it. They are kinda pricey at about $80-100.

Most have good luck with a non-synthetic Castrol or the equivalent.

Energy suspension here, a little more vibration felt initially but it settled in and now nothing at all.

I have an energy suspension mount. Its like $30. Never noticed any of the vibrations or ride issues people talk about. I also used the metal plate that comes with the mount that nobody seems to use. So I dont know...

As long as you have both your fine. IIRC back in the day it was believed that if you had stock motor mounts with poly trans mount the engine would flex and bellhousing wouldnt and possibly crack the bellhousing. Since you have both theoretically your good! Ive never had a problem with castrol trans fluid from Walmart. Just dont run synthetic and you should be fine!

I would not, but thats just my recomendation. Your trans and converter companies dont want you running synthetic trans fluid for a reason.

I run stock motor mounts and a poly trans mount. no issues.

And I run mobil 1 full synthetic atf. synthetic atf handles heat better. But I also have a 4k stall and a built transmission.

Just did a rubber stock trans mount to go along with poly motor mounts. Did another stock torque arm bushing for the hell of it. Got the stock rubber from gm. Theres to many threads on the cheap trans mounts breaking in a few days. Also to many threads with horror stories about poly trans mounts breaking the tail housing on the trans+vibrations.

Thumbs up Synthetic is better

Everyone who is telling you not to use synthetic fluids are running them in other places.

I have run Amsoil ATF in all of my cars and it is just fine. Are you going to listen to car companies and major oil companies or some guys on a forum?

Check it out for yourself.
