i mean i'm going to take it easy on it for the first 500 miles because i have to break in my s60 also. was just wondering if that would be enough for a break in no wot or anything till 500 miles or more.

Id be more intrested in how many shifts between gears it sees. I mean, 500 miles can be all in od if your going from florida to arkansas, and there wont be much break in for the other clutch packs if that were the case.

Well it's full manual shift. I have to break in my s60 by drive different speeds for 50 miles then let cool 30 mins repeat til 250 miles, then normal driving til 500.

To my knowledge there isn't much break in on a trans. If you are breaking in a new rearend then you will be heat cycling it and taking it easy. The trans will like this as well. Check the fluid after it hot and running. I have never broken in a trans, usually warm them up to temp and then drive it normally.
