Is there a drain plug on the stock torque converter. Want to change my fluid to synthetic need to get it all out. If not does anyone have an easy way to get it done.

Well you better drop the trans and stand it on its tail to get it all out, take out the TC, and take the pan off + change filter lol.

It would be allot easier to take it to a shop and see if they will flush the fluid with the one you want. Maybe its me but I don't want to take the trans out for fluid lol.

cant get the fluid out of t/c without taking it off and letting it drain for 24-48 hours minimum

I would also say take it to a shop that has a flush Machine is your best bet that way every drop of the old fluid comes out and the new goes in and its well worth it !!!!!!!!

Flushes are ify depends on who you talk to. The trans shop I was at talked me out of doing it. He also has a 4th gen camaro (lt1) with over 100k on the trans and said noway would he ever do a flush unless he knew the car had it done a few times throughout the cars life. I feel pretty confident he knew what he was talking about when he turned down an easy $100 or so. Said he seen more than enough problems after flushes to not wanna do them. He said he would still do it if I wanted but lol I couldnt say yes after that.
When I did my stall I got most of it all out and replace with about 9-10qts

My Camaro has the automatic and 66,000 miles on it. Is that too late to be doing a complete flush on it? I know the owner's manual says don't change the fluid till about 100,000 miles...but that seems way too long.

I would just drop the pan and change whats in there every 15k-30k along with filter.

Stop flushing your transmissions They don't require that. They require a simple routine service of a fluid and filter swap. The only thing that benefits from a flush is the shop's wallet.
