Default What torque convertor?

I have a 94 Buick Roadmaster wagon w/a LT1/4L60E,the tranny went on me and am having another one rebuilt by teamtripp.com.What's a good convertor I can use? They recommend an S-10 one rebuilt by GM that is a couple of hundred above stock. I'd like to go with a brand new 11in,any recommendations?

for a 4l60...look no further than Vigilante....get a multidisc...a lil on the $$ side, but OMFG does that converter rock!!! I had the 4000 3 disc in my formula and I could outlaunch anyone.....

Some of the LT1s have issues with really high stalls. A Vig 2800 or Yank TT2800 would be pretty safe choices and some zip to that roadmaster.
