I have not tracked my car and no doubt my 3400 yank stall will work good for that but on the street find it a bit loose for my tastes. I had a 2800 vigilante stall in my other car my old 96z28 with 3.42 gears and it was great couldn't even tell the car had a stall.
Also yank said not to lockup the stall think it was past 50% due to my power levels and also don't bother locking it up around town since it gets annoying but locking and unlocking but it also runs hotter since not locking it up.
So what other brands should I consider going to? A triple disc vig around the 3200 to 3400 range..A circle D maybe can you lock those at high power and are they pretty tight. As said my vig 2800 was tight stall so tight that thought didn't even have one put in when first got it. Maybe I am expecting too much here.
Now don't get me totally wrong .I can live with my yank and have driven some pretty radical cars in my younger days on the street but maybe just getting old.
