427 4l60 converter suggestion?
Car current setup
H/C/I ,3.73 gear,SS3600,150 shot
Best nitrous pass of 10.6 @128
New setup
Ls7 427,3.73 gear, 150 shot, 26 inch tall tire Still
We want something to leave good but still be tight and efficient with the spray.
Was think of a PY3400

The converter should be spec'd out by a converter builder. But that being said, Before I could make a recommendation I would need to know more about the motor.
What cam is in it? What heads? Has it been dyno'd? What rpm does the torque curve come in?

Here is a little more info on the car, the new LS7 has a Cam Motion .242/.256 .656/.640 114lsa cam, ported stock heads and ported stock intake. Have a FLT level 4 built 4L60E and ran the Yank SS3600 convertor with the 346 h/c/i setup. Best 60 ft on the 150 shot with the previous setup was a 1.58. The LS7 will have a large increase in hp and torque so need a new convertor to take advantage of this power. Was happy with the Yank SS3600 on nitrous on the previous setup but was way too tight all motor. Looking for a new convertor that will work well all motor and be very efficient on nitrous. Was thinking about a Yank PY series or have heard good things about FTI. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
