Tune lockup questions

Tune lockup questions *About to put a PT4000 in my '98 Z and have some questions about a tune and lockup. Will be getting a Frost tune and would like to have it unlocked in 3rd and 4th below 50mph as thats where I spend 95% of my driving time in this car (actually 3rd unless its late or I'm trying to sneak around).
Is it OK to do that? It will have a cooler as well. This is my 5th converter in 3 different cars but only one was tuned and I didn't think of it at that time.
