2003 lq4 + yank flexplate + 4l80e bolts and clearance?
Hey guys
i got a yank sfi (ls1 style bell, not flat) flexplate and im bolting it between a 2003 lq4 and early 90s 4l80e.
Which way does it go? bell top pointing forward or back toward the trans/converter?
with the bell pointing toward the back, there is about .125" between the flexplate and the converter, but the converter isnt bolted down yet.
I dont have a spacer on the crank.
can you guys help me figure this out?
thanks

hey Dave
I think the only problem i have now is that the curved flexplate i got from you needs that hughes crank spacer thing to keep the converter snout in line with the crank...
by chance, do you know how much the converter pilot is suppose to engage into the back of the crank?
thanks
