Default 4l60E shifting problems

Hello to everyone,
I have just purchased a 68 Camaro fitted with a 2001 Firebird LS1, 4l60E.
The trans is new and won't shift forward gears. It only manual shifts 2nd to 3rd.
It's had a fbw conversion and I don't know how to control the idle.
The computer has 2001 Corvette on it and the fbw pedal has 2003 Corvette on it. Also has a Hypertech controller
Can anyone help with answers?

thank you

Well what your describing is limp mode you either have no 12V to the trans or the PCMis seeing an electrical fault and shutting down. In anycase its and electrical issue.

The problem continues, I have had the system scanned and it shows no faults.I have power at the trans pin. The computer has a sticker on it with a lot of numbers. Do these numbers show if it's the correct pcm for a 4L60E?
Thanks again

Why don't you give me a call Monday. I would like to know more about this combination and talking about it here would take forever I believe.

Give me a shout, maybe I can shorten your learning curve and repair time......
