My automatic tranny doesnt shift past 2nd gear??? I have an a4 camaro z28... it doesnt shift pass 2nd gear... is my tranny gone or what is it? is it an expensive fix?

Indeed it sounds like the 3/4 clutch pack has failed. It is a very common condition with the 4l60e.
You might want to consider upgrading your transmission to a performance unit if you are going to keep the car. I would be happy to build you a very nice unit that will last you years to come.
