Default 700r4 vs 4l60e mount pad

Are the mounting pad bolt holes on both the 700r4 and the new generation (removable bellhousing) 4l60 left of the centerline or is it just one of them?
thanks
Scott

They both are symetric. The difference being the bolt circle is smaller on the ls style 4l60 than the lt style 700r4

thanks for the reply,
if they are on the transmission centerline, why do all the crossmembers look as though the mounting holes are left of center?
