Exclamation help asap 4l65e in to fbody

Will a 4l65e fit my ls1 trans am I bought it instead of the 60e by mistake will it work? I kno about the tail shaft... Its out of a 2004 silverado 1500

Yes, it will fit if you swap the extension housing.

It should bolt right in just swap out the tail.

it worked ive already put about 400 mile on it and workes fine i had to change tailshaft
