Got a heck of a deal on a 6.0 with the attached 80E out of a 4x4 and was wondering what all would I need to do to run the tranny in a Chevelle.

 

you would need an output shaft, tailhousing, speed sensor ring (some 4x4's might have the ring if they were rebuilt from 2 wh drive trans
w.o the speed sensor ring, an aftermarket controller wont work, it doesnt have the input
also theres a plug in the rear of the trans that needs to be replaced
in the long run, better off getting a 2 wh dr core
