6L80e Hose connection?

What should I connect to the hose connection on the top of my 6L80? The fresh air intake from the passenger side valve cover? I'm clueless as usual. I've read countless PCV threads here, but none say they connect to the trans.

You leave it open, it's a vent.

It's a vent tube as Joe said, but factory uses a tee & hoses, with one way valved filter that clips into one of the open rear holes on upper backside of engine to let air breath in, and then they have a one way valve in the other end of tee to vent pressure out only.

You can get the valve and filter at dealer, but they may not stock the filter and they come in a pack of 5 so dealer might not wait to have them laying around.

Have them check for other dealers stock if they want sale you just one.
