Trans pan magnet

is it just magnetized to the pan or is there epoxy/glue holding it in place? I got a new pan and didnt order a magnet. Can I just pull mine off and reuse it? Thanks.

Its just the magical forces of magnet drawing itself stuck to the inside of the indented square

Thanks for the quick answer. Felt kinda stupid asking but didnt want to get old pan off and find I needed to buy a new magnet for new pan.

I thought the same things when I tried to pull the one out of my old 98z pan. Ever since then I just pry it up, clean it up real good along with the pan and put it all back.
