P0740
P0740 Hey guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with my trans. I swapped a 4.8/4l60e combo into my s10 back in august and it has been driving great until recently. I now I have an intermittent CEL with a code P0740. While the light is illuminated, the tcc will not engage. I had my laptop hooked up to it while driving, I cleared the code and right away the tcc locked up.
I tested the brake switch circuit at the pcm. At idle I have 14v, drops to 0v when I depress the brake pedal. I haven't tested the solenoid yet, but I have a feeling its fine. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Any known common failure points in the harness or something like that? Any help would be appreciated.
