Default 4l80e won't engage 1-2 when cold after rebuild
I have a 4l80e transmission that after a rebuild ( not by me ) won't shift from 1-2 when cold. Does it once the first time after startup then goes back to normal. Installed a Trans Star shift kit and the stiff shifting isn't consistant. Sometimes it feels normal sometimes it feels soft.

Any suggestions?

Have you checked the tranny fluid? Check it when its warm
