Default Shift kit advice? Servos?

I have a 94 stock formula witch has a fresh STOCK rebuilt tranny (shoulda ordered a monster) and I really hate how slow this thing shifts.
I have been searching for shift kits but some people say use this some people say dont use that, and some say use this and that! lol
What would be the best way to get chrisp and firm shifts?
I used to have the B&M shift plus on my old silverado and it seemed to help quite a bit under normal driving but didnt help much under full throttle (trans could have been worn though)

Would it be worth a servo upgrade? (looks like a PITA to get to though)
And I really dont wanna tear the valve body out

I'm gonna go with a shift kit for mine.

I loved the shift kit in my TH350 so I hope my 4l60e behaves similarly with a shift kit.

I would personally go with a trans-go 2 shift kit. Its fairly cheap and doesn't require any tuning. You really need to know what your doing to install it correctly and the directions are a little vague but it is well worth it. Plus plenty of people on this forum have installed them so if you hit a dead end and need help you'll be able to find it.

thanks I might just wait a few months and then get the trans go kit. I wanted the transmission guy to install one for me but he said that doesnt work on the 4l60E only on the 700r4 because the 60E is electronic you have to make it shift faster with a computer tune. lol I knew that was crap and by that time it was to late to just order a built trans offline (witch would have been $100 cheaper!!!!). Oh well you live and learn.
$1350 for stock rebuilt slow shifting junk
or $1250 for a monster trans good for 500? HP

I wanna hit myself in the head with a bat right now.
