Here is a photo of the trans cooler mounted. This is looking under the car up past the air dam. I made the sheet metal brackets that hold the cooler.

Did you have to add shims to your transmission mount?

I am installing th400 as well and I have a two inch gap from where the bottom of the mount is and the cross member. i bought a midwest chassis crossmember but i am not sure it will work. Might just make my own.
