Default Any tips on flushing trans cooler?

I am doing a rebuild on a 4l60E. I need to somehow pump all of the old fluid out of both coolers, the radiator and external cooler. Any special tools or can I just blow it out with a compressor and pump clean fluid through it. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just blew a can of cooler clean through it, then some air. Air alone won't clean it out from what I've read.

If your previous trans had serious internal problems, e.g. ground up metal, you might want to just replace the oil cooler. Otherwise hidden metal could destroy your new trans too. In that case the torque converter needs to be replaced too or at least opened and rebuilt.
