4x4 6L80/90 to 4x2 6L80/90
I understand that to change a 4x4 version of a 6L80e or 90e is to change the output shaft and tail section. Is this correct and if so how much trouble or cost involved?
Finding a bunch of 4x4 trans.....needing a 4x2!
Thanks!

From what I have read you are correct. You would be money ahead to buy one from a two wheel drive truck that has a slip yoke. Even the Corvette, Camaro and G8 are a little different. So bide your time and get one from a 2 wheel drive truck.
