Default 6l80 convertors.. same from 2010 to 2012

Has anything changed for the 2012 6l80 convertors?

Ex- could you buy a low mile used convertor from a 2010 SS or G8 and put into a 2012 6l80?

Just need to verify nothing has changed in the 2012 convertor from the previous could years for the 6l80.

Want to buy a nice low mileage used one and bring up the stall just about 500 rpm on a 2012 SS with the A6.

The trans will all take the same converter, meaning the inputs shafts are all the same. The Corvette uses a special bolt pattern. The G8s, Camaros and trucks all use the 300MM style with the typical LS bolt pattern.

Hey Chris,

Thanks a lot for your time and answering my question. I was thinking about buying a slightly used converter (6l80) from a G8 or Gen5 camaro and having it restalled by about 500 rpm. I have a 2012 2SS A6 and wanted a better performing stall without changing daily drivability.

I was also thinking that this would pick the car up .1 to .2 in the 1/4 without having to tune.
