Stock cubed LT1 out of a Impalla SS, rebuilt
Crane 227 cam
LE1 heads
1.6rr
Disabled air/smog/egr
Installed block of plates
Rebuilt GM tranny (about 3000 miles)
3600 stall
Stock 3.23 gears
A/c still in car but not charged/fully hooked up.
Stock un programed PCM/ECU.

Engine was pulled and replaced, tranny was in car, though I did add the converter, cam/heads and 1.6rr all before the engine was installed I have not been able to get it right since I installed everything a few weeks back.

The problem, runs great in driveway, no first gear maybe not even second, feels like it starts in 2nd or 3rd gear, no power at all. I notice driving it around the neighborhood the speedo reads 90-100 mph when going 40ish. I can manually shift down once above 30mph but does not make a huge difference in power.

I am guessing Limp mode, or VSS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone?? I got a scan tool I will pull some codes.

 

Checking for codes would be a good place to start. Also this issue with the VSS needs to be corrected as well.
