Default Help with reconnecting trans lines 4l60

This is probably a complete newbie question here, but I got the transmission back in and bolted back up in my 99 WS6 and can't figure out how to plug the two transmission lines back into the trans itself! Feeling pretty dumb right now, so if anyone can offer any help I would greatly appreciate it!

Meaning you don't know how they are held in place, or which one goes where, or what?

Did you keep the retaining clips when they are disconnected?
If so, simply push in the lines & replace the clips to hold the lines in place.

Ive actually found that its easier to put the e-clips in first, then push the lines in.. Worked much easier than trying the other way around,

I know where the lines go and how they go in, I figured out where the e clips go, but I am having a hell of a time getting the trans lines to actually "snap" back into place. Getting these two lines is literally the only thing left to do before topping off fluids and firing my car. Do I need to lower the transmission again? I already removed the heat shields to help get at these lines. I really need to have this back together tonight. Thanks again guys!

Remove the crossmember and lower the tranny as much as possible. It's a tight fit, but you can do it. Once the tranny is dropped about 3-6 inches, gently pull the lines towards the rear, one at a time, and line them up. Catching the threads can be a PIA. Take your time. You're almost done.
