I don't know if any shops actually take old TH400's and build them up to hold higher hp and then sell them complete or if they want you to bring a trans into them for an upgrade or build. 800 rwhp shouldn't be that tough to reach with a decent reasonably priced build up. Any suggestions or ideas? Has anyone had a good experience to pass along. Thanks

also it sucks because i am in the same boat kind of... i have an ati rmvb t brake th400 that needs repair and it is almost the same price to rebuild as it is to buy a new one. i have a friend who can do it for far less but he is in south carolina. i would recommend him if you were anywhere near him.

Nope I think I'm further from him than you are.

Yeah it's frustrating when you have to rely on others and hope that their motives are genuine. I'm sure it's a pretty simple fix but they make it seem so complex.

I read your other post. I would listen to those who replied. I doubt it's internal causing the vibration.

You might try to contact Mike Ridings at Vortex Converters. He can build a good TH400 and is in your area.

I would be glad to help you but we're quite a ways from you.

Mike Built my 4L60E for me. But last I heard he stopped building transmissions so he could concentrate more on converters.
