Just bought a stall...-3800vig.jpg

Bought this used 3800 Vigilante Stall from a buddy of mine Yesterday.
Its a billet single disk VIG, with a Free restall by vig before Nov.

I priced one of these and comes close to 900 shipped, to my area... And couldnt pass this opportunity for much less than half the price.

What do you all think?.

Anyone with similar mods and stalled, let me know what to expect from this set up.

Its for a high horsepower engine... Hes pushing 420, but his trans was stock, with just converter. Now he upgraded to a 400.

And he hooked it up of course.
Speed wise, im sure this is what i was missing

so do you have stock tranny or a lv2 lv3 or lv4. I put a coan 3500 stall in mine and i got the lv3 with a shift kit and it will make the car much faster. I cant feel my coan in normal driving. i drove one with a vig and it was the same you will like it.

Not any more,
A local guy is doing the rebuild...
(Shift Kit, 5 pinion planetary gear sets, Corvette servo, beast sun shell and 3-4 clutch pack for a 4l65e.) With a one yr warranty.

And at a very very good price, removal and re installation.

How is the overall driveability? Does it really lock up at 32k, or is it a lil loose?

well, my tranny was $780 with a long list of upgrades, $360 for the stall, and 450 for the new seals and R&R of trans... plus about $100 for a trailer and fuel to get it to the shop... mine will lock up at about 40-45mph... drives completely normal on highway... light to light is where you have the most fun...I love mine...

I'm running a 3600 Revmax stall and love the hell out of it... brand new for 300 shipped from their sale. Extremely streetable, just like stock, and dead on when it flashes.
