Question Is a B&M 80277 Remote Filter Kit a good idea??

I want my trans (02 Camaro LS1 4L60E and around 90k miles) to last as long as possible and I am wondering if this remote filter kit will help? Is there a better kit in the price range ~35.00? Does it really increase filtering efficency 2-5 times?

Also, I live in the south and temps are regularly close to 100 in summer/ mild winters.

Will trans line pressure be a problem? How about if running this kit with a fluid cooler?

Thanks

No one? Anyone installed a remote transmission filter and can post or link experiences/ opinions?

There is a good reason most newer cars have a 50K or even 100K mile filter and fluid change interval - it just isn't needed. At least for routine driving. Use the best fluid like Dexron VI and the best possible oil cooler. Just by opinion.
