4L80e PWM
4L80e PWM I'm swapping an ls1 into a 66 impala and have decided to use a 4L80e as down the road I plan on putting alot more power to it. I purchased a 4L80e w/ only 63,xxx miles out of what I think was a 1993 motorhome. Was running the harness and have run into some problems. My 4L80e still has the old 12 pin center bolt plug(which is prone to leaking) and my wiring harness has the newer 11 pin connector. Can I just swap out the internal harness to the new style to match the 11 pin connector and be good to go??
Also I was told it would be best if I can find a 1995 and later 4L80E, as it has the (PWM)Pulse Width Modulated torque converter lock up which is used with computer. The older transmissions are not backward compatible and may not work properly. Is this true as I thought ALL the 4L80e's have the PWM.

Thanks for the reply. What all is required for the VB mod? I have a trans-go hd-2 kit I was also going to install at the same time as the internal harness and the EPC solenoid. Is that all that I will need?
