Ok Im putting a 08 silverado LY6 and 02 silverado 4l60E in a 1970 c10. My question is I have the harness and computer from the LY6 but I do not have the harness from the 4l60E. I need help in joining the wiring from the engine to the transmission. ie diagrams or any other help would be nice. Ive searched on here and other sites but either Im not looking in the right place or its not here. If I need to supply more info just let me know.

Wondering if you ever got your issue figured out. I am currently doing the same thing same year transmission except it’s 4x4 and my LY6 is 2009. Will a stand-alone harness work with this transmission? If not what do I need to get them to work together. Thank you.

 

Is it just my imagination, or do we get a lot more of these necro-posts on the auto trans board than other boards (engine/ tuning/ etc.)?

Yes a stand alone controller will work or wiring in a stock 4L60e harness into you PCM and a tune will work also.

 

seems like here and genV, which makes sense since there's just not as much info out everywhere else on these subjects.
