TC Advice Hi Guys!
its time for me to upgrade.
I have a 2008 4.2 Liter I6 Trailblazer.
Everything is stock with a bit of tune except for my Valve body wich i did Here and he works flawelessly.
I want to wake up the truck a bit and decided i will start with a new Torque converter. But this is a whole new world for me. Im planning an upgrade over the stock one wich will be good in performance and dialy driving the car.
Contacted FTI and they recommended B2400LT-30 with 2400 stall speed.
What do you think about that?

I wouldn't waste my time with anything less than 3000. I believe your trailblazer already has a higher stall converter from the factory than a normal truck, so the recommended 2400 may not be noticeable. I originally had a 2200 in my car and couldn't tell any difference from the stock converter. In my opinion, my current 3400 would be on the aggressive side for a daily driver with a v8 with todays fuel prices. In my experience those inline 6 trailblazer engines are pretty rev happy, so bigger would probably suite them better. Avoid cheap converters, you really get what you pay for.
