4l80e converteer and flex plate differences by year???
I'm running into a few questions when selecting a converter and flywheel for my application. I have a 99-2000 lq4 and I have the engine just about built, and I have the 4l80e done as I've built before. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me where the difference is between the converter and flywheel on the 99-2000 crank. The crank hub is .400 taller then the ls1 and I'm curious to know weather any ls1 style converter will work with a flat flywheel or do i need a different converter? I know their is a flange on the ls1 style 4l80e flex plate is that my only difference? Thanks for the help guys.

hate to hijack but i didnt want to make another thread...
I just bought a 4l80e and I have a 04 LM4 ( i dont know the crank size, has the 3 converter mounts)
What is the simple/cheaper solution. Spacer, yokes, harness and plate or Sell it at profit and get a 4l60e?
Hate to be this cheap but im building an entire car. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
