I have a 1993 4L80e that I'm swapping into my 2002 Camaro. I've read there are a few different tailshaft styles on the 4L80e (splines all the way to the o-ring, etc) though I haven't seen pictures of each. As the pictures show, my splines go nearly all the way to the o-ring. The "factory" 4L80e yoke I removed had a bolt on the end holding it on, then 4 "prongs" for the driveshaft. It appeared to be slightly flaired on the end to accommodate the o-ring.
Before I removed the tailshaft housing to actually inspect what I needed, I bought a "TH400/4L80e" slip yoke off the classifieds I assumed would work. However, it doesn't appear to, as the pictures show. The yoke has splines all the way to the very end, and has a hard stop about 1/4" before the o-ring where it's solid metal on the tail shaft. As far as I can tell, it definitely won't go on any further.
So that brings me to two questions. 1) What slip yoke do I need that will actually work with this tailshaft + my stock driveshaft, and 2) what the heck kind of yoke do I have here?
Thanks for the help!

We machine the output shaft on our builds so that a yoke like you have will work.
If you don't machine the shaft, you must use a counterbored yoke. We have the counterbored yokes for a 1350 u joint.
