Default th400 shifter binding

i just put a th400 in my car and wanted to retain the factory shifter. Ive already drilled a new mounting hole in the bracket...but the shifter cable binds up on the o2 sensor(pacesetter LTs). Has anyone had this issue?

On some headers the placement of the o2 in the collector does interfere.. You just by a new o2 bung & relocate the sensor to the outside of the collector & plug the old bung.
