So iam a complete NOOB when it comes to auto trans. Ive owned, driven, and raced stock trans, dogbox trans, faceplated trans just never a AUTO trans. So ill make it quick and just lay out what i have and what iam looking to do and hopefully you guys will know A LOT more then me.

Car specs:
2800-2900lbs
lq4 with cam, headers, intake, exhaust, tune, 150shot wet
rossler terminator 2 TH400, (rmvb, transbrake)
275/50/15 drag radials

Iam taking a wild guess but iam expecting more or less 460-500hp with the setup fully tuned.

What i plan on using it for:
It will be a daily driver BUT work is only 3 miles from home so its not as bad as one might think. late night fun runs , Drag strip. it will be 50/50 on racing and street.

What iam looking for:
3000-3600rpm stall
something to hold 600hp
something that isnt going to give me hell driving, even though the longest trip might be only 30-40 miles
not spend over $5-600


so thats pretty much it. If more info is needed just let me know and ill keep adding. Hopefully this is enough info for now.

maybe you guys can help me chose one of our nice vendors and what converter "level" or "version" i should get.
